Overview of Presentation 5: This session will highlight issues related to administrative data used in the study. This session will explore types of data used as well as methods of utilization. Presenters will discuss strengths and challenges related to timeliness of data, access limitations as well as lack of demographic information. They will also highlight innovative approaches around how data was used to predict the prevalence of OUD. In addressing challenges, presenters will explore ideas for improvement around collaboration with medical examiners, local governments, and state departments of health.
